 The GMAT is a computer-adaptive test used by business schools worldwide to assess analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative, and verbal skills, determining readiness for advanced management studies.

GMAT Pattern (Duration :Approx. 3hrs 7min (including breaks)

Frequently Asked Questions about GMAT

 The GMAT assesses skills needed for success in graduate business programs, including critical thinking, analytical writing, and problem-solving. 


 Quantitative + Verbal: 200–800 

Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA): 0–6 

Integrated Reasoning (IR): 1–8 


 You can take the GMAT once every 16 days, 

up to five times in a rolling 12-month period and 

no more than eight times in total. 


 The difficulty varies by section; the computer-adaptive format adjusts question difficulty based on your answers, so preparation is key. 


 GMAT scores are valid for five years from the test date. 


 The registration fee is approximately $275 USD, with additional fees for rescheduling or sending scores to additional schools. 


It has four sections:  

Analytical Writing Assessment (1 essay) 

 Integrated Reasoning (12 questions)  

Quantitative (31 questions)  

Verbal (36 questions) 


 Yes, GMAT Online is available for candidates who prefer taking the exam from home, with similar format and scoring.
